Michael LaSota, Managing Partner

Michael LaSota is the Managing Partner of KHL, leading the attorney staff in various aspects, including file handling strategy, guidance on new laws and regulations, client services and more. He also hosts client trainings and presentations at conferences throughout the years.

Michael’s interest in law started through family ties, as his father, uncle and brother were all attorneys, but cites his father as being the driving force of his career choice. Prior to working in Workers’ Compensation, Michael practiced civil litigation, which formed the way he communicates and listens to the needs of his clients. In fact, the clients that Michael works with are at the heart of everything he does. Providing quality service to ensure the best result is the most important element in handling his cases, but he approaches each one as a new challenge to find the best solution.

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Michael moved to California following law school in 2003. He was drawn by the weather and the myriad of things to do across the state. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and two children in Woodland Hills.
