Christina D. Alon, Associate
Christina Alon hails from a long line of attorneys, representing the seventh generation in her family to practice law. Originally interested in employment law, Christina’s first steps after law school was actually in the HR field, where she spent five years as a director. During that time, her experience handling workers’ compensation claims from the employer’s side fostered an interest that eventually lead to her shift to law.
In her current practice, Christina utilizes her prior experience as an HR director to see things from her clients’ perspective. This informs her understanding on employee classification/misclassification (i.e. misclassified independent contractors), employees outside the policy coverage (ie. Officers under certain policies), and employer administration when a claim occurs. When receiving a new file, she finds the medical components fascinating, including AMA Guides, taking doctors’ depositions, and reviewing the QME reports. This focus on the medical details allow her to provide candid advice on exposure at each junction of her cases.
Born in Germany, Christina spent some time in Africa before ultimately moving to California just before elementary school. She currently resides in Carmichael, California and on her free time enjoys travel, hiking, any activity where she can be in nature.
